Do girls move less than boys?

I saw in DS's baby book that by 20 weeks he was waking me up at 2am every night. Seriously, it seemed like anytime I was still he would start doing the boogie. Now I'm 28 weeks with twin girls, and by comparison they hardly move at all. I feel them maybe 2-3 times a day. Anybody else notice a big difference in movement between pregnancies? When do we start doing kick counts? I'm worried there's going to be nothing to count...

I had twin girls and am now pregnant with a singleton girl....and this time, I feel much more. I felt the twins moving alot, but not like I can feel this baby. I think its more a matter of room than gender. :)

I'm prego w/ a boy/girl. I do feel my boy moving more often than I feel my girl - boy is low while girl is closer to my belly button. I was wondering about that too but have no clue why that is - both are usually pretty lively at my ultrasounds.

I can't comment on how much boys move because I am expecting twin girls and this is my first pregnancy, however in my opinion the girls move a lot!! I am almost 35 weeks pregnant so their movements are a bit slower and rolling but they are definitely active. I notice that they tend to be more active in the afternoon/evening and very early morning (i.e. 3-6am) whereas they tend to be quieter between 6am-12pm. I also feel them hiccup quite a lot (at least 3-4 times a day each). That is just my experience though! I believe they recommend that you start counting their movements at around 28 weeks. I don't keep a record of them I just make sure that their movements are within the normal range (at least 10 movements in 1-2 hours). I am on bedrest so spend a lot of time lying down quietly and paying attention to their kicks and rolls. I would only become concerned if I noticed less movement than usual rather than sticking to a certain number (although they consistently move more than 10 times each in a 2-hour span).

I am having twin boys and Twin B which usually sits at the top of my belly in my rib cage moves way more then Twin A who sits really low in my belly. I can feel and see Twin B rolling around and moving and Twin A just kicks in my pelvis. I feel these ones way more then I felt my son in my first pregnancy.

I am pregnant with twin boys and they are sooo active, the both of them. I felt them since I was 16 weeks pregnant. They have not slowed down despite the increasing lack of space.

I don't know if it has to do with gender, the amount of room they have or just the babies personality. Once I felt my oldest DD moving it seemed like she never stopped. LOL
With the twins, both girls, I did feel them moving a lot, but not as much or as strong as my oldest DD. I felt my baby A who was squished up on my right side most often. With this baby I have just within the last week or so started feeling him move daily. He is very low so nearly all of the kicks are near the pubic bone, some of them can be felt on the outside but he isn't nearly as active as my oldest DD was at least not yet.

My DD didn't move much but these two girl move ALL the time. Even my OB is shocked how active they are. I do feel A more then B but that is b/c B's placenta is anterior.

I have B/G twins and my DD was so quiet I used to wonder if she was OK though she´d give DS a good reply if he kicked her! DS was constantly moving around. I knew what they would be like from that and they are the same today: DD´s quiet whereas DS just doesn´t stop from the moment he gets up!!!
