new baby store- bye bye baby

we have a new baby superstore that opened up recently and went to check it out today. it's called bye bye baby, and it's great! they have a lot more stuff than babies r us, i think i've found a new favorite store... lol. anyway, we bought a new stroller, ended up just getting another combi sbs, and went up to the register and the cashier asked if we had any BRU or bed, bath and beyond coupons because they accept them. turns out they are owned by bed bath and beyond and you can use those big blue 20% off coupons there, so we got 20% off the stroller! worked out well cuz combi wasn't included in the trade-in event at BRU.

 

That's nice! I've never been that fond of babies'r us, I find their selection pretty poor really Wish there were other alternatives out here (Target is even worse).

 

it is a very nice store! I knew they accepted Bed Bath and Beyond coupons...but they take BRU coupons too?!

The one by us opened about a year ago. It's closer to me that BRU so that's where I usually go.

They will also let you use multiple 20% off coupons. I just bought the boys new bedding and was able to save 20% on each.

The closest BRU to ours now accepts their coupons which in a way is good because BRU only has 15% off coupons verses 20%. I bought a new jogger at BRU and they accepted the BBB's coupon.

Although, I wish Bed Bath And Beyond, would stop making their coupons so big.

 

The one by us doesn't have more selection than BRUS except in pacifiers & bibs maybe but they were stacked to the ceiling so you have to get a sales person to help you. Plus they are WAY more expensive than BRUS and I never thought I would find a store that would be higher priced.

I bought Max & Lily bathing suits there when they opened by us and I was so excited to check the store out. The bathing suits were too cute and I couldn't resist, but it was hard to tell DH I spend $60 for two bathing suits that have been worn 4 times this summer. Also our store only let me us the 20% off coupon on one item not the whole purchase and that excluded big items like strollers, cribs, car seats, diapers, formula, etc.

I'll stick with Target and BRUS for the Pampers diaper club. At least I'll get a free case of diapers after we purchase nine of them at BRUS.

Thank you for this info, we have a ton of BBB coupons, it might be worth it for us to take the trip to Cherry Hill to pick up some goodies.

 

Like the other Michigan poster, I was not impressed with the only one in the area here. I'm sure it depends on which store you go into what type of service you get because there are some BRU's that I refuse to shop in and one that I love becasue they are always so accomodating.

 

Is that the one in Canton, or Utica? I work in Livonia, so the Canton one is close, but if it's not worth it I won't bother.
