I have my 20 week U/S tomorrow. I'm hoping that they can see the sex of both babies, we are dying to know.

 

I have ab OB appointment on Wednesday, and possibly an u/s on Friday.

 

I have an U/S and ob appt tomorrow morning...

 

I have our anomaly ultrasound tomorrow and a regular ob apt on thurs.

I have OB appt. and another NST, they will also draw blood for thyroid since last time it indicated I had slight hypothyrodism and my OB started me on 25mcg Synthroid. Hopefully the med is doing its job and all the numbers look good.

I have had 2 u/s since I saw my OB last so i'm looking forward to seeing her tomorrow so we can go over the results. I'm also hoping that she can give me some advise on the pain I continue to get RIGHT under my breasts an in my left shoulder blade...so weird!

 

On my way to my MFM our of town. Going to check and see if they discordance between my girls has gotten better.

 

We have an OB appointment this Wednesday (start of the bi-weekly appointments) and an u/s on Thursday!

I have my cervical U/S appointment this thurs (sept 10th).

Everything was great today at my appointment. The discordance went down from 22% to 8%!!!! yeah! A weighs 1 lb. 14 oz and B weighs 1 lb. 12 oz and both of their pressures were around 3. So much better....so.....the bed rest worked so I gotta stay on it!

 

Report on 34 week ultrasound/ob appt: the ultrasound showed that the babies are doing great - Baby A weighs 5lbs and Baby B weighs 4lbs, 10oz. They both received scores of 8/8! My cervix is still short at between 1.2-1.4cm but it is stable and unchanged. Hoorah! From now on it will no longer be measured. The NST also showed that the babies' heart rates are exactly where they should be, showing plenty of variation. I was also having NO contractions (compared to when I was hooked up to the monitors at my 28 week appointment which showed I was having contractions - it was at that point that I was admitted to L&D for monitoring and discharged the next day to begin my bedrest odyssey which has now lasted just over 6 weeks). So I believe that bedrest does work!! My BP was slightly elevated but still within normal range and all my bloodwork/urine has come back normal in terms of pre-eclampsia. The doctors still can't believe we've made it this far so all in all it was a very positive morning of appointments! My next appointment is September 18th at which time I will be one day shy of 36 weeks. Here's hoping I can make it until then!

 

24 week checkup today. Wife is measuring 30 weeks (belly size), babies are 1lb 7oz and 1lb 9oz. Lookin good.

 

U/S today went well. It looks like both babies are doing good, We are still waiting for the report from the Dr. to be sure, and it looks like we are having two girls. I'm so excited but and a little shocked I was sure there were two boys in there.

 

Yahoo!! I am so happy to hear everything is going well.

 

Update on my appt...Everything looks great, yahoo!! No contractions, only irritable cervix, and she said its normal at this stage. Boys are doing, beautiful HBs. I am waiting for OB to call tomorrow with the test results. Keeping my fingers crossed that my thyroid levels are normal. Oh yeah and we have set a date for the induction, Oct. 2nd. I will be 38w1d, I am super excited.

 

Scan went great. They are measuring around 19 weeks, so a little big. They are both about 8.8 and 9 oz! We were really good and showed restrain and didn't look at the screen when the tech was probing for their lower halves. It's still a surprise!! They were both feisty, baby b was kicking baby a in the head while the tech was trying to get measurements. And we all swear we saw them fist bump!!!! :lol:

 

Well looks like I drew the short straw out of all of us, and I got to have the crappy appointment this week.

I've been on bedrest since Aug 6 due to my cervix being 0.4 cms long and 1 cm dilated. My OB checked my cervix today, and I'm now 4 cms dilated. I'm really hoping for a vaginal birth, but my OB does not want to do a vaginal birth before 35 weeks with Baby B still breech. So if my cervix doesn't hold out until at least the 20th, it looks like I'll be having my first section. So frustrating since I've given birth vaginally 3 times without a problem. I was supposed to go on modified bedrest on Sunday, but my OB recommended that if I want a vaginal birth, then I should stay on strict bedrest until 35 weeks.

I'm also worried about being dilated so much, because this is what I was just a few days prior to giving birth last time, and by the time I knew I was in labour, I only had 2.5 hours until the baby was born.

 

Hi. Sorry about your appointment... Did the dr think it was likely that you could still make 35 weeks? I hope that those babies decide to hang out in there for a couple more weeks for you!!

 

OB appointment went well! Cervix is long and closed and FFN test was negative. The only scary part is that I am measuring at 35 weeks!

He's hoping so, but isn't sounding overly optimistic.

 

I'm a little deflated after today's appt...baby A's growth has slowed down. Dr wasn't worried for a long list of reasons, but still i was expecting her to be 5 1/2 lbs by now and she's measuring 4 lbs 15 oz. The boy baby is estimated at 6 lbs so he's still a champ! I'm 2cm but my cervix is still really long so he doesn't see a reason i shouldn't keep going strong. Also my induction is scheduled for 10/6...kind of a bummer bc last week he was saying the week before. So overall good but kind of a downer too.

 

Bummer OB appt. for me today in several ways......my doc is out of the COUNTRY until the 24th and I got to see the other doc in that office....UGH!!
Anyway--everything for me loooks fine--bp normal, urine normal, belly measured 39 still, both girls vertex still, although not lightening and no major dilation or thinning--not leaking amniotic fluid [just peeing my pants ]. A is posterior, not a major issue, but may be later, especiallly since B is down low crowding her also.
The bummer? didn't really like the doc. He [and the others on call] will be unwilling to deliver vaginally if baby b turns breech. seemed to be pushy for medical intervention [epidural, c/s, etc] also----got me all worked up and crying after i left.....OH, please Lord, I pray that I will wait at least 2 more weeks!!!!
Sent myself to bed when i got home and i will continue a self-induced modified bedrest until my ob is back on US soil :cry:

 

I am so sorry your appt didn't go so well. I will keep my fingers crossed that your babies wait until your OB is back.
