I have my 28 week appointment on Wednesday. I am anxious to see how my cervix is holding up & how the babies are doing. I was on house arrest for a couple of weeks until my last appointment 2 weeks ago, and have been told i can join the world again but just to take it easy, which has been really hard to do (the getting back out there bit). Am really hoping my cervix is behaving.

Here is the update from my appt this morning. Nothing new, everything looks great. Boys didn't want to cooporate so the NST took awhile to do, HBs are great no huge contractions. My BP is great 120/70. And I am measuring 44weeks! Sweet heaven!! We talked a bit about delivery and she said she would induce me between 37-38 weeks. But possibility of going to 38 weeks is very slim since the boys are so big. So I called my mom and told her to book the flight for the end of Sept. when I will be 37 weeks. I can't believe we are getting sooooo close.

    Good luck everyone this week.

I have my 29 week ultrasound and a doctors appointment on Sept. 3rd! I am very excited to see my lil boys! My cervix had grown 1cm at last ultrasound so I am very curious to see if it has grown again, stayed the same or shortened!

I have an ultrasound early tomorrow morning. I'm hoping they will check my cervical length, and am hoping it has gotten a bit longer - or at least not shorter! I'm also curious to see what the weight estimates will be.

I had my ultrasound this morning, EEEAAAARRRRLLLLYYYYY this morning, lol. I am so not a morning person! But it was so AWESOME leaving my room - I've been in here for 2.5 weeks! When I got home I lounged on the deck for a bit enjoying the beautiful weather!

Both babies are doing well, although they weren't cooperating about practicing their breathing movements, so I had to do another NST (I get several a week). Baby A weighs 4 lbs, 6 oz and is vertex. Baby B weighs 4 lbs, 5 oz and is still breech. My cervix is measuring the same as when I was in the hospital, 4mm. i was hoping it would get a bit longer, but, hey, at least it's not shorter!

I got some more info from my OB a couple of days ago. I'll be on strict bedrest until 34 weeks, which is coincidentally also my 34th birthday, lol. I think my OB is giving me the best birthday present this year, because then I can go on modified bedrest from 34 weeks until 36 weeks (when I can stop bedrest completely). On modified bedrest I can move around my house a bit more, but still can't really do anything, so I still need help around the house. Also, since Baby B is breech, if I go into labour before 35 weeks, then I will need to have a section. Needless to say, my new big goal is 35 weeks, lol!

"And I am measuring 44weeks! Sweet heaven!! "

I'm also 34 weeks and measuring 44. Isn't it fun? My husband and I are trying to get out for good dinners and movies before the babes arrive, but I do hate the stares...and the resulting explanation I have to give!

My appointment went great. BP 102/60, cervix is 70% effaced and 1 cm dilated, and doc thinks I may go naturally before our scheduled c-section on September 23rd.

This is my first week not working, and it feels lovely to be able to put my feet up and relax. I have to take advantage of this time before the craziness begins!

    Happy Labor Day, everyone.

I had my 30 week ultrasound and check up. My ticker is off by a few days I think. Both the babies are good. One is 2 lbs 8oz and one is 2 lbs 10oz. Twin A, the smaller one, is being squished by his brother which made it a bit hard to get his pictures but they are both doing really good. 45-50th percentile! They are both head down. I think Twin A will stay that way as he is my not so active baby but Twin B is sure to flip as he moves so much its ridiculous sometimes! Lol! My cervix is 3.2cm so its shortened since my last ultrasound! I go for my next check up in 2 weeks for my internal and my next ultrsound in 3 weeks. Everyone is doing great! I have been blessed to have what is considered a normal twin pregnancy so far!

Well, I have my bi-weekly growth scan. I’m praying that they have stayed the same as last time. Gavin continues to grow faster each time we go, so here is hoping that Olivia can keep her own and grow a little more or keep the pace. When we first found out we were pregnant the babes were showing 2 days difference. Then we went for my 21 weeks u/s and they were 4 days difference and then at my 23 weeks scan, they were 6 days difference….so obviously, there is a pattern (that I don’t like) but nobody seems too concerned at this point. But I REALLY want to make it to 37 weeks! REALLY BADLY!!!

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Had our 3rd appointment today (17 weeks) It went great. No U/S, but my OB found both heartbeats right away with the doppler. I hadn't heard them yet, so that was an amazing sound.
I asked a million questions and got a million answers, but now have a million more lol
We scheduled our level II U/S for Sept 17th and I am so excited to see my little beans again!

On the way home, DH and I nicknamed them Lefty and Righty due to their current positions hehe (where the HB was heard)

Had a growth scan with fetal medicine, an OB appt and an appt to check in with the midwives yesterday (loooong day) but lots of good news. Babies look GREAT!! :yahoo: Both are growing well. Baby A (my boy) is 4lbs 1 oz and his greedy sister, Baby B, is 4lbs 7 oz. My cervix has not budged even a tiny bit and I am still over 3.2 cm and closed tight, which is great news. I have perfect blood pressure, no sign of GD and I am overall completely healthy. Best of all, I finally have a delivery date!!!  My c section is now scheduled for October 6, which will be 37 weks, 4 days and perfect timing as my husband has a 10 day vacation scheduled from October 10. My doctor was originally skeptical that I would make it past 36 but feels very encouraged by how well I'm doing and the state of my cervix. Given my size and the size of these babies, making it past 37 weeks will truly be an accomplishment so here's hoping they can bake all the way to their scheduled date!! :yahoo:

The doctor said not this friday but next we will discuse delievery date. I'm hopeing early October but ill let you guy's know for sure when. Bye!!

I talked about some of this in my ranting post already, but my OB appt today went well. Babies, fluid level, and blood flow all look perfect! And the babies are both still head down, so far so good there for a vaginal birth. :woo: He also said given their size and my belly size he's thinking it will make the most sense to induce at 37 weeks if I make it that far...so there is an end in sight! (He said 9/29)

Last of the week and a late post, I know--but my appts are every Friday this month!
At 34 weeks, I measured 39. My bp and urine look good. Gained 3 lbs in one week--and they all tended to agree it is all baby :good:
Last week both babies were breech and I'm pretty sure they had turned vertex in the last few days {at least A had} because instead of the kicking/punching going on in the nether-regions, I have been feeling kicked/punched all over the ribs and some greater pressure down low. She agreed that B was down by feeling when getting heart rates {which, BTW were in the upper 140s, lower 150s} but doubly confirmed Baby A vertex when she checked my cervix. She went ahead and did the strep test or whatever it is that usually happens around 35-36 wks. She also went ahead and checked my cervix--a "fingertip" dialated and starting to thin a bit, but still high and thick. :clapping: *YAY*YAY*YAY* Still no bedrest or pelvic rest, but she left it up to me on how much to do or not to do....I guess she figures I've done fine so far  And the confirming vertex? She said "I feel a head"!!!! That'll get your attention!!! Forget the trying to breathe and relax as I'm all open to the world :shok: ANYWAY--great news here! Love the ability to SHARE!!!
