One of my boys has a cold(unfortunately my higher maintenance one) and he seems to want to sleep longer during his naps (night times have been bad) But I was wondering how many of you would keep them on the same schedule despite one being sick or let the sickie get more sleep (he's grumpy and gets tired sooner when I have to wake him up) . What do you think????

Personally, I would let mine go only 30 minutes or so longer when they were sick. And if he seems very tired and ready for bed earlier, I would also put him down for the night earlier. I hope your little guy feels better soon

Bless him, i hope he gets well soon! I would let my poorly girl have an extra 20mins or so if she were still sleeping when her sister got up. More often than not my girls get sick at the same time though.

I would let the sick one sleep so they will hopefully recover more quickly. If it's only a couple of days being off schedule, it shouldn't be too bad.

I always let my kids sleep more if they are sick. I always figured they needed more sleep so that they could get better quicker. Sometimes it meant a bit of work to get them back on schedule after, but it never took very long

I let them sleep 30 mins longer before waking them up...they usually didn't seem bothered then and I agree...bedtime sooner if needed! Hope he feels better soon!!!

I let mine go a little longer too, usually 30 minutes. Unless he really needed more and then I just dealt with an off schedule for a day or two.
