I think it's self explanatory, but I'm a rotten poll maker and almost always have something wrong with them!! :p

To be more specific - do you find SOMETHING helpful in the posts that follow?

I'll be the "other"! I so rarely ask a real question that I can't remember the last time I posted for advice or whether it was helpful. Mostly, I post to share things they do that amuse me.

I rarely post to ask a question but if I do or I find someone else's thread on a topic I need help with the answers almost always help me. Even if it's just knowing other people are having the same issues I am.

Whether or not I post the question, I still find alot of suggestions/ideas/advice from this group!

I picked other as we have just moved into this forum. But the responses seem to be good with the threads I've read.

I don't post questions but I do like to read responses to others! I have had so much great advice from them!

See! I needed another option!! Oh well, OtHER will suffice!!

I like to hear whether people are getting help where they need it! That's what it's all about!

I don't necessarily find all the responses helpful, but whenever I've posted a question (and I feel like I do fairly often), at least some of the responses are really helpful. I definitely rely on TS more for advice than I rely on my IRL friends or other websites.

Most definitly!!!! I have often in the past asked for advice here and very much find it helpful, and more than that reading others posts help in ways I often didn't even think about.

I read a lot of threads, even though sometimes I don't feel like Jacob and Boden are in this category. They seem to be behind all the other kids. Like, we aren't anywhere near PT, they are still in their cribs so no issues with toddler beds, that kind of thing.

Sometimes I avoid this section b/c it makes me realize that my boys aren't quite there yet. I need to be patient, but it's hard.

But - I will say that it is helpful with Ella - she is 4.5 so I find she is having some of the "crazy lady" issues that some of you are having with your kiddos as well. So, that is super helpful for me. :)

It's kinda funny that you mention following the advice of people on TS because I have taken a lot of your advice over the years, Alden. :good: Thanks for all your help!

    VERY helpful!! :grouphug:

I will just say that at 2 years, 4 months, we were right where you are. AND, I had a dd that still had a binky. You will get there.

I rely on TS for advice! I feel like some of you know my kids better than our "real life" friends :) I love everyone's perspectives on the questions that I ask and I always come away learning something.

Oh and Tali, At 2 years nearly 1 month I wasn't PTing, and my girls are STILL in cribs and will be for awhile (at almost 2 1/2), so don't think your boys are behind at all

Leighann, this is exactly what I was thinking! They don't seem behind to me at all!!

Alden, I 2nd what Sarah said! I love your practical advice!

While I don't always follow all the advice given, it's SOOO nice to hear other people are in the same boat, and to build an arsenal of tips and techniques to deal with all the craziness that comes with having 2.5 year old twin boys. I very much appreciate every response I get to my questions, and many that I read in other people's postings.
I think this is a great resource!

Tali, I'm jumping in with the others as well. My two are still in cribs. :pardon: Yours are not behind at all!!!

I think this is one of the most helpful and least judgemental boards I've found! Especially with twins, it seems most other moms IRL or on other boards just don't get it- they have no clue the additional challenges that twins brings!

:) Thank you so much, guys. I think that other mommies of twins just get it - where mommies of singletons don't always.

I'm just happy that when it comes time for me to PT the boys, or put them in beds, etc - I have a TON of advice and info here, and lots of ladies ready to help. And, that makes the future not quite so scary. :)

 Yay!! I'm glad it's mostly positive! I know we're not perfect, but I'm glad we have a mostly helpful board!!
