    Hello Ladies,

Right now my twins are still in their carriers (only 10 weeks old) and we are using our snap n' go exclusively. I am trying to figure out what the best stroller will be once they are out of the carriers.

We registered for a Graco DuoGlider and received it as a gift, but before I open it I wanted to get some opinions.

    What stroller do you like?!

    Thanks,
    Emily

I had the Duoglider as my first stroller instead of the SNG. I would say return the duo since you have the SNG. Then get something like a Combi Twin Sport SBS. Much lighter and nicer IMO.

First question...do you find the SNG annoying? Is it too long when you push it? If so, return the DuoGlider and follow Rachel's advice. If you like the length and how narrow it is, then return the DuoGlider and get the Graco Quattro Tour. We still use our DuoGlider most of the time but I wish we had the Quattro Tour. It is easier to turn and more comfy for the kids. The back seat of our DuoGlider has been caving in for months and poor Jake looks uncomfortable back there.

I liked the DuoGlider but even after 19 months of using it, I have hard time opening it (not very mechanically inclined here). I would return the DuoGlider if I were you and keep the snap and go and like Rachel said, invest in a SBS stroller. The only issue I found with my SBS is that sometimes when I am out shopping, some of the aisles are hard to get through. Good luck!

I just got the bumbleride indie twin. expensive but so amazing. when i push it, it feels like its motorized and moves by itself. it's a great investment i think!

We have the Kolcraft contour one and love it! I love that the babies can sit facing me or each other. I've used it a couple of times and really thought it was smooth riding.

The Chicco Trevi Twin is awesome for shopping trips, etc., and the BOB Duallie is awesome for walks and runs outside.

I used a SNG for the tiny infant stage, but even at 3 months, I was annoyed at the length and weight of the thing. We have a small car, so I needed something I could fit in the trunk and leave room for groceries and etc., and I wanted something lightweight since I am using it ALL the time. Oh, and something comfy for the babies! :) We bought a Maclaren Twin Triumph off of Craigslist and I seriously am thankful for that stroller each time I use it! It is compact and light, both babies can see the world and they love the stroller, it reclines nearly flat for all ages of babies and naps, it folds down TINY, it is well-made and sturdy, and best of all, it is really narrow. I rarely have problems shopping with that stroller, even in department stores between racks of clothing.

I LOVE this stroller! HTH! :)

Although I would love a BOB, they are SOOOOOO expensive. Good to find one off of Craigslist if you can. We have an Instep double jogging stroller for twins - I think these are more than half the price of BOBs and it is REALLY great - only 19 lbs and pushes very easily. I absolutely love walking the park with it. But I would not recommend it for shopping - too wide. This is if you need something for walking the parks or outdoors. We have the Graco Quattro Duo and it is heavy to unload but really comfy for mall trips, etc. You cannot push it with one hand once they are a certain weight, but it is great with two hands. If I could have afforded some of the other brands others are speaking of, I would consider them, i.e., MacLaren, or Zoopa Tango, etc. Still, the Quattro was purchased for us and I am not complaining! :) Good luck! (Craigslist is a wonderful thing)

I also have the Maclaren Twin Triumph and LOVE IT! I had the snap and go when the girls were in carriers and moved them to the Maclaren at about 7 months old. I can put it in and out of my van easily and it fits through department store doors very easily. I hope my girls dont outgrow it! Also even though its a side by side, I've used it at Disneyland many times and haven't had a problem pushing it through the crowds.

We've always just had a SBS [started out with a used one]. I used a tandem stroller once and hated it. It was so heavy and bulky, difficult to manouver, etc..

We've had the Combi Twin Sport SBS for about 4 months now and use it everyday! We have a coupe and it takes up less than half of the trunk space! It's easy to manouver and is lightweight. I Love the fact that it has snack cups for the kids too!

I hope it's ok i jump in. My girls are 8 weeks old and I've been using the SNG. I have no issues with it. I also have the Baby Jogger City Mini that I will use when i'm done with the SNG. Does anyone have opinions on the city mini? Thanks in advance for any info.

I have the Graco and it was great when the babies were still in there car seats and going into the stroller. But now that they can sit up and are too big to stay in the car seats for walks/outings, I use a lightweight Jeep side-by-side stroller and love it. So much easier to get in and out of the car. My mom got the stroller at a children's consignment and I'm so glad she did. I wish I had bought not necessarily a jeep stroller but at least a side by side.

Ditto that, love my combi twin, it's so lightweight, easy to push with one hand, individual recline and canopies. My biggest complaint is too small baskets (which is pretty typical in double strollers from what I've seen), no parent tray (again typical in SBS), and the canopies are a hare too short. I'm planning to get a canopy extender thing so it's longer and covers the babies feet better. Other than those few things I absolutely love my combi!
