I have the double snap n go stroller. I love it, but my babies don't. At nearly 3 months they still seem to hate their carseats. I keep thinking this will pass, but hasn't happened yet. I am researching my next stroller. Want it to last a long time, be lightweight, fit into the back of my car, easy to maneuver, etc. Does anyone have the Baby Jogger City Mini Double Stroller? I have read tons of online reviews and it seems to be very well received. Just wanting to hear from any twin moms who have experience with this one before I make a purchase. Thx!

And if I can jump onto this thread: which do people prefer? The baby jogger city mini, or the bob duallie. (Those are the two that seem to get the most raves-- but for such a big price tag I want to make sure I make the right choice!)

One of my friends is having baby #2 and came to me for advice b/c I already have 2. Anyway, I told her the truth. The City Mini is my dream stroller. She decided on the City Classic b/c it has inflatable wheels. She loves it even though her other baby isn't born yet. She's practicing with just her toddler in it and says it doesn't pull one way or the other and fits through all the doors she needs. Wish I had one to tell you my personal experience! We have a Graco Duoglider, Schwinn Jogger, and now a Jeep double sbs thanks to beccasquared!

I got the BJCM when I was transitioning my little guys out of the SNG. I really like it. I, too, didn't want to have 15 different strollers. I feel like it is a good all-around stroller. Very lightweight and easily maneuverable. It fits everywhere a wheelchair fits, so it is easy to use at the mall. I can also use it on walks, at the zoo, and at the playground and beach (where the terrain isn't completely flat). It is not a jogging stroller, however, so if you want to jog, you may want the Baby Jogger City. I'm not a jogger, so no biggie there. My favorite part about the stroller is the fold. If you haven't been to the Baby Jogger website to see the demo, you may want to check it out.

I compared the stroller to the Maclaren double (since I love my single Mac), but there were 2 reasons I went with the BJ. For the most part, it was because of the easy fold of the BJ. Also, the Mac has this weird wheel in the middle in the back, and I could see me or DH stepping on it while walking.

Speaking of DH, one of the big things I like about the BJCM is the height of the stroller handle. It is great for me at 5'6" and DH at 6'3". Neither of us feel like we are stooping down to reach the stroller. Very comfy, and no hunched shoulders.

The only cons with the BJCM that I can think of are as follows:

    (1) The storage area under the stroller is pretty much a joke. You may be able to fit a purse under there, but that's about it. I solved that problem in 2 ways: with a "Mommy Hook" and with the Skip Hop Duo Double Diaper Bag (there was recently a post about the diaper bag in this forum, LOVE IT!).
    (2) My guys are almost 10 months now, so I feed them finger foods in the stroller. Since the BJCM doesn't have trays, you have to spend about $80 or so for the bar and the 2 trays in total. Mine are coming in next week, so I can let you know how I like them if you care. It's not a huge surprise or anything, it's just annoying that you have to spend more money.

I would HIGHLY recommend this stroller, especially if you only want to buy one. Good luck with your decision. I know I felt like I researched these things FOREVER, but I made a good decision with the BJCM.

    Molly,
I'm sure the duallie is a great stroller, but I just couldn't bring myself to spending almost $600 on a stroller. The reason I went with the city mini is that it had everything that I wanted at a great price point.

We have the citi mini as well and LOVE it!! Not only does it look nice, but it is lightweight, easy to collapse and get in and out of the car and is SUPER easy to maneuver. I can push the stroller with one hand and walk my 90 lbs dog with the other! Plus, I've always been able to fit through doors to get into stores etc. Storage space is lacking, but I've gone grocery shopping before and just placed a basket on top...

Super! I am so glad you all like it so much. This pretty much seals my decision to get this stroller. One last question and I hope you don't mind me asking... I can't find the folded dimensions of the stroller. My car has 3 rows of seats and since I have 4 kids I have to keep all the rows up. This doesn't leave me much cargo space for the stroller. Would you be willing to measure your folded stroller and let me know the dimensions? I have looked at the manufacture's website, Amazon, etc. Can't find this information anywhere. I would really appreciate it. Thx!

I will try and measure it today... but I have three rows of seating as well (minivan...) The stroller collapses in half, you can lay it flat or stand it up, so if you stand it up, it should fit fine in the back of your car...

I love this stroller. I got rid of the SNG two weeks ago because the boys hated being in their car seats for that long. So, the stroller is FAB!! I use it everyday, we go on a 4.5 mile walk and it manuvers beautifully! The only bad part is that the basket is very hard to get to. I added the parent console, belly bar and trays. It is fantastic.....I cant stop, someone stop me!

Jenn - LOL. You are making me laugh! Glad you like the stroller so much. You are making me anxious to warm up my credit card and make a purchase! By the way, I probably told you this before... my dad's name is Edward Thomas and my brother is Thomas Edward. Love your boys' middle names!!

Katie - I would love to get the dimensions and appreciate that you are offering to measure for me. I envy you the minivan! My car is a crossover SUV and my cargo space is extremely limited. The Snap n Go just barely fits. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...

I have it and love it too, I just wanted to add that you might want to get snugglies or noggin nests if your babies are small. My guys are around 15lbs and they slide down in the seats when I keep them upright. I got 2 boppy brand noggin nests and that solved the problem.

    Hi, just fyi...

Baby Jogger has a chart in a PDF file that compares the sizes of their different strollers. Here is the link http://www.babyjogger.com/

We have it, and it's a great stroller! I have an acura tsx, and it fits flat in my trunk when it's folded.

Thank you for that information! I kept looking at the page for the stroller and didn't see this file until you pointed it out. I made my purchase last night and cannot wait until it gets here!
