Getting a little jealous!

Hearing about 2 women due within days of me having healthy little babies makes me jealous! I am getting a little sick of being pregnant! I cannot wait to hold my little girls. My induction date is set now for August 3rd when I will be exactly 37 weeks if I can make it that far. I have bargained with my babies so they are going to wait until their daddy starts his leave from the army (on the 31st) before they can come!

I have had a rather easy pregnancy and I am getting nervous that the birth may not be as simple! I am afraid of the breech extraction my doctor is planning for baby b. He has explained it rather well, but I haven't heard of anyone else having one so I don't really know what to expect!

It's hard to be pregnant with twins and to wait to hold them :wub: but your time will be here VERY soon. :hug: Only a week and a half. :woo: Plus the girls want to hold to their agreement. :lol:

i feel the same way. i keep asking the ob to set a date for a c-section and she wont. well i asked if when i get 37wks will she do it. she said yes but dont ask again. i just want to hold my little babies. im tired of contractions, back pains, vaginal pains, breast pains...shall i go on. lol i have only a short amount of time left yes i know but its hard when everytime i log in some one else had their babies

 

i'll be 38 weeks on wed...i have a section scheduled for the 31st when i'll be 38 weeks and 2 days...the past couple of weeks everyone has kept saying "how are you still pregnant?"...um, i just am people! it makes it all a little depressing...the ob, at my pre surgery appt this past friday checked my cervix and is still way up high and not doing a single thing to get ready for labor...and he couldn't figure out HOW that is possible...i have 13 pounds of baby plus 2 placentas and sacs in me and my body is holding on to it all for dear life..i'm SO over being pg...this feels like the longest pregnancy i've ever had, and ironically it will be the shortest! all of my other babies have been overdue!

 

Awww I really wish you all the best making it through these last little bits of your pregnancies!

I'm not even at the super uncomfortable stage yet and I'm wishing these babies were arriving sooner...mostly just because I can't wait to meet them but I'm sure I'll be a mess by 35 weeks + as well wishing they'd make their debut.

awww! Hang in there! I have sooo been there. Very, very soon you will be holding your sweet, sweet babies and being pregnant and miserable will be a thing of the past!

 

I am going in Wednesday and I keep wondering every day how I am going to make it through. Something happens at 36 weeks and twin pregnancy just gets HARDER. 3 MORE DAYS.

:hug: I too am starting to get jealous and am soo tired of being pregnant. Just last night I figure a baby was laying on a nerve cuz I could only walk in extreme I mean extreme pain on my left leg. I am soo tired of all of this but we just need to hold on longer. Hey at least you have less than me to go heehee, try and concentrate on all of us who still have a ways to go vs those who are having their babes early. Maybe that will help. You can do it momma!!!!!

 

I totally agree!! I love reading all the birth stories and seeing the baby pictures, but I would LOVE to be posting my own birth story and baby pictures. I'm going to start doing a countdown - maybe I'll start today. As of today, I have no more than 18 days until I have my babies!

 

Cooking the babies for as long as possible should always be the desired end result! I'm guessing I'm not nearly as uncomfortable as others seem to be ... because I don't think it's all that bad ... I'm tired, I get winded easily when I spend too much time on my feet, but in all seriousness, the longer you cook the babies the better. Too many ladies have had their babies at their scheduled date, and STILL end up with NICU time, or other issues. I watch my ticker go up, and just hope I can make it to my scheduled date at 38w3d. It's my personal goal, and I don't want to do a day earlier unless there is a serious situation that would make it unsafe for me to keep them in any longer ...

 

I am so JEALOUS as well, certainly as I wobble through the days and remember not so long ago talking to those women about morning sickness- I could drive myself crazy.
Well it's definetly a full cycle thing and can't do anything about the wait. I am super thankful they posted their stories, that helps ALOT.

I am jealous too!!! Even though I should have at least another month with them. I have been told for a month now that they would come any day. I have been dilated 1 cm and 50% for a whole month! I'm convinced they are hanging on now until the very end and we will have to evict them! I am just so excited to meet them.
