Hair changing color

My DD was born with dark brown hair. Now, when I look closely, it looks like blond hair is growing in. All her little hairs around the temple look super blond and her roots look blond too. Has this happened to any of your babies? BTW, I was super blond as a baby through my early twenties. But I never started off as a brunette! My first son's hair changed color too but not this extreme.

 

Yes, Owen was born with really dark hair & by the time he was 2 he was as blond as can be. But now, at 11, his hair is getting darker again.

Ruby was born with lots of jet black poker straight hair and then it all dropped out It's grown back beautifully but it is now golde and it's curly! Isn't it funny!

Evan was born with pretty dark hair. You can see a picture of him HERE at about 4 weeks old.

Then my avi is his current hair color, pretty blond. Both Evan & Audrey have blond hair but their eyelashes are dark, so I suspect that they will get darker as they mature.

 

I was very blond as a baby/child, and was surprised when I looked back at old photos that I had dark hair in my newborn photos... by the 12+ month photos, it was light, light blond. My DS's hair is coming in very blond... my DD is still pretty much a baldy, though looks like it could be darker. Both DH and I were blond growing up so I assume hers will eventually come in blond too...

 

My son and my sister were both born with very dark hair that eventually turned to blonde. My son never even lost his hair (which is common), it just turned blonde. It still goes from bleach blonde to dark blonde in the summer/winter with hints of red during the spring and fall.

 

Alice started with a really beautiful shade of strawberry blonde. I was soooo hoping that it would stay. However, it's just blonde now, no red undertones.

 

I was born with jet black hair then it turned red then strawberry blond. Now my hair is light brown and I'm noticing more reds in it. My mom said I looked like she experimented with hair dyes on me! My sister on the other hand was born blond and stayed that way. Both my boys have blond hair and have since they were born.
