I want to buy a small pool... but no shade

I have swim suit and swim diapers and I'd really like to get a use out of them... We live in an apartment but there is a large grass area behind us and a lot of people have outside toys behind their place. So I was thinking of getting a kiddie pool (cheap one).

Unfortunately there is no shade outside. Maybe around 4pm but not directly behind us and pretty much in the neighbor's 'yard'. I could get a shade of some sort but it would have to be small so we could store it...

What would you do? We have sunscreen obviously, but still, I don't like the idea of my kids playing in the sun for one hour... Are there any cheap pools with a 'roof'?

Good luck Fran, we had one from One Step Ahead last year and really liked it. It was an inflatable one with a shade, the only bad thing was when we went to use it again this year, it had too many holes from storage so we got a plastic pool from BRU. Enjoy!

we have an inflatable whale pool where the fin comes up and over and covers half the pool. so the girls get shade and mama gets a suntan :)

It is small, but they do fit. They like to go in and out of it a lot. I like that the sides are soft, so they don't hurt themselves.

Buying a small pool is a great idea for the summer! Lack of shade can be a problem, but you can solve it with a pop-up canopy or some large umbrellas. Pinch a Penny has some good options for pool accessories that could help. It's important to have some form of shade to stay cool and protect against sunburn. Enjoy your new pool and stay safe in the sun!

Мы тоже решили нечто подобное приобрести на участок.
