Does anyone have a set of particular cribs that they recommend?

we are going with Babi Italia...they are one of the top rated cribs from consumer reports and are only around 400 each...and they can be used for years...crib, toddler bed. bed, etc.

We are fond of the crib we have for DD, from Target, I believe it's called Simplicity and it converts into a daybed and a full bed, it also has an attachable diaper changing table that can be turned into a nightstand.

I can vouch for this crib/set as well. This is the crib that my son's been using and will be getting one more when the twins arrive. Two of my friends love this crib as well. Only negative is that ours doesn't have a side that drops down so it's hard to lay my son down in it at the lowest setting. However, I can jump in it when I change the sheet and it's still very sturdy.

I haven't changed it to the bed (parts for that are sold separately) but my friend has and it converts to a full size bed beautifully.

We had two Million Dollar Baby Mini Cribs. I'm going to say to stay away from them. The wood dents easily and my boys grew out of them around 19 months (as opposed to 3 yrs in a reg crib). Luckily the transition to big boy beds went well! Our mini cribs converted to twin beds.

Simplicity cribs are what we had but they were recalled so I would stay away from those. We just transitioned to toddler beds so I don't have another recommendation but good luck!

Baby mod cribs at walmart.com-they are like little square boxes and no scrolls or ornate boxes, so they can be put back to back flush. When the kids can stand they will be able to see each other over top etc! Very easy to put together and high quality non toxic wood. They convert to toddler and later little daybeds-300 each. Love them!
