On my way to my OB right now. Hopefully i'll get another ultrasound and we can find out what these babies are. I'm 17 weeks and 3 days.

 

I have an ultrasound this afternoon and a OB appt tomorrow. I can't wait to find out these little ones' weights, I feel so big and heavy that I'm hoping they're bigger and it's not just me LOL! Been having quite a few contractions lately so I'm actually looking forward to a NST (I think I may start them tomorrow?) to make sure it's just braxton hicks.

Just got back from my visit. Still couldn't find out the sexes!!! Baby A had it's legs crossed the whole time and she couldn't be for sure on baby B. She said she was leaning towards 2 girls but couldn't be positive so we'll have to wait 2 more weeks! Both babies weighed 7 ounces each and their heart rates were 162 each. I'm 17 weeks and I measured 30 weeks!!! That is so hard for me to wrap my mind around. My BP was 132/84. Still have no swelling. She told me to stop sleeping on the heating pad because it can make my skin itchy and raw. She said to get a rice one that you put in the microwave. Even though I couldn't find out their sexes I still had a great visit.

 

We our Level 2 scan tomorrow morning. I am 17 weeks today and this is our first u/s since I was 9 weeks! I am so excited to see the babies and hopefully get confirmation that they are doing well. I am so nervous for the u/s but very excited to find out the genders. Although applejack's post has pointed out that this may not be a guaranteed thing.

 

They drew my blood again today and my iron has gone up! My hemoglobin went from 7.6 3 days ago to 9.2 today so my anemia is now more mild/moderate, which means at this point no more need for a transfusion. :banana:

Ultrasound was good. Babies are measuring 3 lbs 9 oz each at only 30 weeks! :shok: Ummm how am I gonna make it to 38 weeks when I'm only 5 ft one?! Actually let me re-phrase that, I'm terrified I'll make it to 38 weeks with two huge babies!!! but at least they are doing well! Cervix is still great at about 3.8.

 

i see a midwife at 1 on friday for the usual measure and weight and stuff..it'll be my last midwife appt this pg...well, regular midwife..i see the m.f.m midwife next thursday after my last u/s...

 

I can't wait to hear about your appointment! I have no doubt it's possible to find out their genders. Mine just weren't cooperating! I hope you get to find out!

 

Hi everyone. We just got back from our level 2 scan (I am 17 weeks) and everything was great with both babies. All of their measurements checked out fine and they were each at 7 oz which they said is 50% percentile. Also, they said my cervix was looking great. So it was a great appointment for us.

And...the exciting news is that found out their genders... It is a girl and a boy!!! I started crying on the table I was so excited. We have a 3 year old son already so it is very exciting that he will have a brother and also our family will have a girl to help even us out. I could think of fun things with every combo but now that I know we have boy/girl twins I just can't stop smiling!!

I have an OB appt. on the 16th in the afternoon. They'll be scheduling the glucose screening and just measuring. I'll try to remember to post here asap afterwards!! [my dh and i are celebrating our 10th anniversary on FRIDAY--no plans yet, but if I don't post, that means he came up with something, probably]

 

Had my normal OB appointment today. Everything still looks great with me and the boys. Lots of contractions, but my cervix is still long and closed, so no immediate worries there. But I got the great news that I gained 5 lbs. in the past two weeks :woah: Not what you want to hear on your birthday!

That is so exciting you got find out the gender of the babies. Congrats!

 

I know how you feel, at my last appt I gained 10lbs during 4 week period. I thought I am going to fall of the scale once I saw the numbers. The funny thing is I still fit in my pre-pg pants and its all in the tummy. I just hope my boys will be big cause I don't see any other explanation for it.

Glad everyone's appointments are going well!

My OB appt was good. I gained only 1 lb in 2 weeks which is great. Am measuring 33 weeks, will go in again next week and start NST's the week after. Yay for boring appointments I guess. Oh I almost forgot...baby girl b was breech yesterday but is now finally head down!! I don't think she'll stay that way cuz she's my troublemaker but it's great for now having both head down!

 

I have my "BIG" Level II ultrasound Friday at 11:45am I will be 17w1d. I am a WRECK! This is the ultrasound I went to with my last two pregnancies where they told me my last two where "Incompatible with Life" I am just terrified. I truly beleive that God is replacing the two I had to deliver and give to Him. But I cant help but worry. I am so excited and nervous all at the same time. Thanks gang! God Bless!

 

Well, it is definite...Identical Boys (Aiden and Branden)! Both finally showed their "baby bits". I'm 19 wks and the babies are doing great. Each are 9 oz. The doctor says that my cervix is 25% efaced though and that I need to take it easy a little bit more. Is anyone else having this happen too? He is having me come back in 2 weeks for a recheck. He said not to worry, I just hope that it doesn't become worse. I hope everyone else is doing well!

 

I had my 32 week appointment today - Wednesday 7/15 - Baby A weighed 4 lbs., Baby B 4 lbs. 3 oz. Cervix measured 3.59. Plenty of fluid, but not excess. Knowing that there is (estimated) 8+ pounds of baby in there is overwhelming considering I'm trying to make it to 9/1 ... my DD was 7 lbs. 4 oz. and DS was 6 lbs. 14 oz.

 

Had my OB appt. this afternoon {27 wks} and it was fairly uneventful, albeit long. Sinc there was a wait on the doc, they went ahead and had me do my glucose testing (ICK! NASTY orange triaminic-like stuff). While fasting that hour, I got in to see the OB. I've gained 8 lbs in the last month, YAY for 2lbs/week! And that brings my total to 20-25 lbs. (I think I was 145 pre-preg, but at 13 weeks at my first appt., I was 150) And I am measuring 33 weeks......
since I have started BraxtonHicks already (bad mommy--not drinking enough fluids lately in this HEAT!!), she checked my cervix and it is nice, high, thick, and long--another YAY!
I have my 3rd US scheduled for next week and get to come back to my OB in just 2 weeks....WOW! Can't believe it's time for that already!!

 

I had my gluscose test and I had to redo all my prenatal bloodwork as my doctor never received the results from the ones done in April. They got lost somewhere.... Other then that no appointments until next week! I will find out the results of all the tests on the 27th!
Both babies seem to be doing good though! Lots of movement and rolling around!

 

my appointment went well today...i measured at 49, which is like 9 weeks overdue (that's like 2 months!)....my bp was higher than usual at 130/86, but no one said anything...i asked the midwife to give me a check...i've been feeling kind of "wet" down there and i wanted to make sure before going to the zoo to walk around for almost 3 hours that i wouldn't end up having a zooologist delivering a baby...nope, no leaking! she didn't bother checking the cervix, i told her there was no need...did the gbs test, i'll get that result next week...today is the 2 week countdown!!! the midwife DID agree with me that the odds of me going in to labor on my own are NOT in my favor...i've been induced 4 times, always overdue, and it keeps taking more and more and then even more to get my body to "work" and HONESTLY i don't want to go through all of that (the last one took TWO WHOLE DAYS) and then push out two babies...selfish of me? maybe a little, but i'm ok with it...i won't be seeing a regular midwife anymore...next thursday is maternal fetal medicine with a follow up (there was some thought that there might be an issue with jack's kidney/bladder, but it is FINE) and a growth u/s...on friday i have a pre surgery appt with the doc, then on the 31st i have the section! my weight stayed steady, which is good (i think)...we had a nice afternoon at the zoo...
