Let's welcome Sean as this week's Meet the Daddy! It's time to put him in the spotlight and ask him those questions we've all been wondering about. Here is a little about him:

    Name - Sean
    Age 34
Occupation - Air Force C-130 Mechanic (13+ years) and Restaurant Owner (www.papaseanscafe.com)
Currently - In Balad, Iraq in charge of C-130 Unit's Maintenance(until october 22nd)
Hobbies - Mixed Martial Arts (5 Pro Fights), Cooking, my 1969 Chevelle SS
Hometown - Military Brat, but claim Hampton, VA
Current Residence - Currently live on 5 Acres in the woods in Cabot, AR (near Little Rock AFB)
3 Dogs(all females) - 12 Yr old American Staffordshire Terrier, 7 Year old Red Dobie, 7 month old Cane Corso

    DW - Natalie
    Age 26 this month
Born and raised in Vilonia Arkansas.
Occupation - Mommy, did work for State Farm until our Resturant opened
Weeks Along - about 22 (boy and girl...Merrick Thor and Marlee Raedon)

    Little About Me -

My Father served 30 years in the Air Force. I have been all around the World and lived in the Philippines for 4 years. He retired in 1996 just as I was joining. My Mother always had a 6 Child Home Daycare as I was growing up and currently has a 12 CHild Home Day Care in Pensacola, FL.

I moved to Arkansas about 2 years ago from Anchorage, AK where I lived for a little over 5 years. I fought MMA up there and 2 of my training partners fought in the UFC (actually took DW to Vegas when I cornered my buddy in his fight and she got to meet all the big name fighters...she had a blast).

I currently train at Westside MMA in Little Rock in my spare time, where another 2 guys have fought in the UFC and one is currently in the TUF House for the filming of the next TUF Season.

Free time is semi-new to me. I ran security at nightclubs in Anchorage for 4 years, so I was always busy during the weekends. Now, I spend my weekends relaxing(wont be much relaxing soon with the twins coming though) out in the country.

I wanted to wait until I was older to have children. It seems to be working out well. When I retire, my oldest(s) will be 6 and I will have all the free-time I want to spend with them without having to worry about going to work everyday.

If you have ANY questions...send them my way. I love questions.

I would also like to THANK THIS SITE!!! So much good info...I can't get enough.

    MMA? UFC? Awesome!

I have no questions for you. Just adoration. In a strictly non-sexual, get up and kick some butt sort of way.

Thanks...picking the names was pretty much a "painless" task...we both pretty much liked the same thing.

Her pregnancy is going GREAT. She is still working a lot and goes in for her next appt. on the 24th this month. She is right about 22 weeks right now.

I used to always joke with her that she was having twins, when we went in at her 8 week mark, I looked up and said "That's Twins". Of course I never really saw an Ultrasound before but it looked like to of the same thing to me. She said "Stop playing!, and told the lady I always joke with her that she was going to have twins."(before she looked at the monitor.

The lady then said..."yep...you are having twins"

She started crying(not really sad...more like "What!?!?!"

    I was VERY pleased.

Her family is all from Vilonia. My Mother gre up in Pocahontas, AR and until recently, my Grandmother was living in Jonesboro

LOL...Yeah...same rules and all that. It keeps me young.

I hope to still be able to get a fight in once the twins get old enough and can remeber their Daddy fighting...

    Sounds like an exciting life!

How long will you be able to be home with your new twins after the birth before heading back to Iraq?

 That's one of the sweetest things ever. She is lucky to have you as her husband.

Does your wife plan on joining TS?

What do you plan on doing after retiring from the AirForce?

Usually I can be home around 6-8 months. I am supposed to be home the end of Oct, and I will try to stay home until August and go back from Aug-Dec so I can be home for Christmas.

I went back a bit early this time. I had just gotten home Jan 29th, so that I could get my deployment done with and try to make it back before they are born. When I get back, it will come to 13 months living in Arkansas and 13 months living in Iraq...fun stuff.

She is a member...Natalie2009, but she is hardly EVER on here. She works 6 days a week and crashed when she gets home. Sunday is her day of rest. She has posted a few times on here. Normally I just pass stuff on to her.

I have less than 7 years, then I am done. I probably wont do anything. We will still have our Resturant and I will have a Masters Degree and always teach some College if I want, but for the most part, my oldest kids will be 6 1/2 when I retire, so I plan on doing anything I want...being my own boss, and not having to worry to go to the Desert or having to show up for work at a certain time everyday.

Pretty much just do whatever I want with my kids when I retire. My main goal this year is to start digging like an acre pond on my land and getting it nice and stocked for when they reach the "fishing age" and building a Go Cart track that goes all around my property for them to race around in when they get a bit older...

Sounds like a great plan, Sean. :good: I think your kids are going to have a great time in their own yard! It's definately going to be a big change from what you are doing now... and well deserved.

SO TRUE...a big change in my life for sure, but I'm 34. I have gotten all the fun and more out of the way I could ever imagine...so now...I am more than ready for this next step in life
