Best Stroller for Travelling

I will be travelling with my babies next month to visit my parents in B.C. through busy airports and then in October to Europe. I have a Peg Perego Duette stroller right now that is not practical for this. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good stroller for travelling through airports and on planes and then buses and subways? I already feel bad taking the children on such long flights and they will be spending a lot of time in their stroller so I would like something that is comfortable for them. I also don't have a large budget and will likely be looking for something used on kijiji or craigslist. Thanks.

I don't have a lot of experience with traveling with them but I know that out of my two strollers I'd rather travel with the Quattro Tour rather than my jogger.

I love my combi sbs for traveling. It folds up so easy and stands when folded (makes it easy to hold on to in while on a bus unlike some of the other SBS)

Just like Lisa, I love the Combi SBS for traveling. It is nice and lightweight, has snack trays, and folds easily at the end of the jetway.

I also agree, the Combi SBS is a great choice! Where are you going in BC?

My parents live in Whistler now. They used to live near us but when they heard we were having twins they decided to move 3000 miles west!

I had a Jeep SBS that I didn't love, but it worked well for the airport.

Will you be traveling with someone? If so I'd go with the Combi or cheap Jeep. If you are traveling alone, I can't speak highly enough of my duo glider, though I'm not sure getting on a bus alone with any stroller and two babies would work easily!

I'll be travelling with my sister and/or husband. I can't wait to see what the airline does with me. I recently had a DVT/PE(blood clots) which makes me a high risk for flying, have to take needles with me for the blood thinners, and have to take bottles/liquids through security, and have twins. It should be fun! I have already found a combi on kijiji. I am hoping to get a response quickly.

I have a Combi SBS and I LOVE it. It folds up so compact ( The size of a Golf Bag... slightly bigger lol)

You won't have any problems with the bottles. I've taken them through many times, you have to hand them to the security people separately but they just passed them right back to me, no problem. Be prepared for security to take forever though. The stroller has to be folded down & put through, then all the other stuff has to go through, shoes off (including the babies, make sure they have easily removed shoes ), etc. Took us forever last time!

I haven't actually travelled with my combi but I'm going to ditto everyone else because I can already tell it'll travel great. We use it every time we go out, and sometimes in our yard when we're outside!
