4 Month Check up

I took my daughters Abby and Sammi for their 4 month check up yesterday and it was a great appointment! My girls were 8 weeks early so their adjusted age is 2 1/2 months, actual 4 1/2 months. They are hitting all their 4 month markers except rolling over and pushing up when on their tummies. I was pretty impressed they hit all the others though. They were great weights, Abby 12lbs 12oz, Sammi 13lbs. And the most exciting part...we get to start food! We will try rice cereal tomorrow. For as little and early as they were, I'm so happy they are growing, healthy girls! We got shots too , but are doing well!

How exciting! My boys go to their 4 month check up next week and they were 9 weeks early, so we are pretty close to you. It makes me feel better as we are on the same pace as you. I am excited for whats next. They are at that age where they are getting so alert. Have fun with your girls! :bump:

It was exciting! Yes, I guess are kids are close in age and even close in how early they were! I felt the same way, for being 8 weeks early, I thought they were doing great. It is nice to know that they are close to where they are supposed to be. My girls are very alert too, they love to be talked to now. They just sit and smile and coo at you, it is the best! Good luck with your appointment and hopefully your boys will be on food soon too!
